Research Title: Deep Reasoning: Acceptance Of Deepseek Reasoning Among Credit Staff In China’s Banking Industry

The research investigated Generative AI adoption (DeepSeek R1 Reasoning) for credit risk assessment by 4,897 Chinese credit officers. Using an extended technology acceptance model (TAM), findings show perceived usefulness, ease of use, and trust drive adoption, while perceived risk is a key barrier. Successful GenAI integration in high-stakes finance requires balancing innovation with robust trust-building and risk management strategies.
